Sports Day

On Sunday 24th April we held our Annual Sports Day at Kew Primary School. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and many kinder families were in attendance. The kids took part in a range of sporting activities including an obstacle course, soccer drills, tennis lesions and musical games. We had a three-legged race for the parents, which was lots of fun. Then it was time for the main event, the fun run. All the kids completed a full lap of the amazing new oval at KPS. In addition to all the fun, so far we think we have raised about $1000 for the kinder, with more donations to come, which is a fantastic effort!

We are hugely grateful to all the businesses that provided donations to supply the BBQ. Woolworths Kew and Coles Victoria Gardens each provided $50 gift cards, Brewsters Butchers at Victoria Gardens supplied the sausages, Bakers Delight at Victoria Gardens supplied the bread and Aussie Farmers Direct donated two fruit boxes. We also secured kind donations of raffle prizes from Top Tenn Tennis Academy, Yarra Bend Adventure Golf and Big Swing Golf Kew.

Past incursions we have had at Studley Park Kindergarten include but are not limited to:

Living Eggs

Rhythms from Afar (African Drumming)

Wild Action Man

Dove Puppets

Responsible Pet Program

Water Safety Presentation

Footy Day

Halloween Dress Up

Pyjama Party

As children are often enrolled at SPK for two years, we try to alternate the incursions so that they are different over a two year period.

We also have annual fundraising for Pictureplates and Teatowels.
